Stephen A. Hanna

Steve joined Stonebridge as Vice President in 2002 and became Managing Partner in 2022. Steve leads Stonebridge’s new business development and coordinates the Firm’s evaluation of new deal opportunities. In addition, he is involved in various aspects of evaluating and closing new transactions as well as the management of Stonebridge’s portfolio companies. Steve is a member of the Board of Directors of Paramount Mechanical, ADI, and Specialty Bakers and formerly served on the boards of National Trench Safety, Cast-Crete, American Dryer, Delta Plastics, Durcon, and Icon Identity Solutions, all former Stonebridge investments. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Steve spent six years at IBJ Schroder, where he was a Director in its Corporate Finance Group, financing management buyouts and recapitalizations for the private equity community. He began his career in Chemical Bank’s middle market lending division. Steve received a B.A. in Economics from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Steve is married with four sons and in his spare time enjoys skiing, coaching youth baseball and the Boston Red Sox.
